I can take a little responsability for that, the fellow that makes these is a great guy - I managed to get a plain polished one for my N.S. Mk.II, when the parcel arrived he asked for some pics of the bass. he'd never seen the dark cherry stain maple and, well obviously he liked it!
After I pull the rest of the parts together mine will likely get chrome plated along with the TRC and the opti-grab.
Yes, I'll chrome plate opti-grab

You're welcome, Uwe.

To comment on this cruel mockery, raping and ravaging of Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna's immaculate-as-is signature bass?!

Damn' they look awesome!

They'd look great on the new Epi T-Bird Pro in blackburst too, not just the Nikki, though I wouldn't put the Gibby truss rodcover on the Epi  at least.

The stripey ones don't look half-bad, I'll grant you that. But I could envisage them more on my Gothbird than on the Nikki Six Sig which I consider to be esthetically well-done. The only thing silly on that bass is the lack of being able to dial just one pup in.

Seriously?!

Damn! I'd have to fix that! I thought it was vol-vol, so its vol-tone?

Yes, vol-tone, utterly dumb.

Two knobs? That's a complex arrangement for Nikki.
