I havent had a problem with the Warwick reds and yellows that I have used on a few basses in the last 5 years either. The webstrings just suit me more.

hi, i'm nofi and i love Fenders. there. i have owned a couple dozen p bass, jazz and teles in my life and love em all. except the mocha (turdburst) p bass i had. :P  i have had a few gibsons but i was not impressed. the only one i liked was an old ripper because it felt most like playing a FENDER to me.

whew! i feel liberated AND somewhat cleansed.  ;)

 Careful nofi, there may be a 12 step program in order.
My 2nd bass was an EBO , 3rd was a similar, EPI and 4th was an EB2. I hopped the fence for a P Bass in 1970 (still got it) and although I've had a few others brands since, my keepers are 2 Fenders and my Earthwood and Olympia  accoustics.
I didn't intend to become a bigot....it just happened :-[ ;)

No reason anyone should ever apologize for loving Fenders. Even here in a forum dominated by Gibson bass fans, there's probably a good number of Fender owners.

Hi, my name is Al, and I'm a Fender fan.

(Outpost: Hi, Al!)

Anyone else a Fender fan?

Hi Al!

I too own a Fender.  ;)

Are there donuts here tonight?  I was told that there are donuts at these meeting......  ;D :P

Freuds_Cat

My main bass is a Fender but I can talk about Fenders just about anywhere. Where else can I go to get the kind of Gibson and sensible info on basses generally, that you can get here?
