Pretty cool idea, love the rivots

Chris P.

Yep, love it and a big +1 for the rivots!

I held some James Trussard steel basses in my hands at the Messe. Very nice too!

Freuds_Cat

Looks like fingerprint hell to me

Also if you decide to go that far why not go the good ol' Ali neck and headstock as well? Like a Krammer or Travis Bean

Try swimming with it then!

Looks cool, but... let's see. Basically a Gretsch copy with MM style pickups. Large body, no tummy cut or forearm contour... 1 11/16 nut width... Neck heel starts at 14th-15th fret... Long scale without upper body horn equals serious neck dive... And probably not the warmest feeling bass in the winter... I'll pass.

oooooh you are a harsh man Ilan..

Too tinny for my taste.

Ballpark street price? Anyone know .... ?

Their guitars are in the $1900-$2400 range at MF.

I like the looks, but probly wouldn't like the sound.

the martin alternative x abg had an aluminum top and wood sides and back and sounded like dog squeeze.

this atrocity looks like it was made for robo cop. :P

shadowcastaz

check out the radio interview w/ kink radio host. sounds sweet. I think the bass has nordstroms in it.

Aviation work taught me all about aluminium and all it's expansion/contraction problems - how many of you have unloaded from a cold van into a warm venue or studio and watched the tuning go out the window, even with the most trustworthy of instruments, then try someting made of aly and see how bad it gets...
