If it weren't for the 94% feedback and it being in Japan, I'd probably snatch that up right now and flip it.

20 positive, 1 negative feedback in the past 12 months. Not that bad.

I guess it doesn't take much to knock your score down when you have so few transactions. I'm a little surprised it's still available.

“Handmade” copy with real Rickenbacker parts. Lefty , strung righty , can be easily converted back to lefty. Just turned up on our local kijiji for $650 Cdn.

I know it’s a trailer park thing , but I’m tempted. It’s about five minutes away …

Since it's that close, you ought to at least take a look.

I like upside down Rics. And have a Yamaha Samurai , which is kinda like one.

I offered the guy a 5string I don’t play.

Early 1973 4001 MG — checkerboard, toaster, wide inlays — $6K BIN

She's perfect.

Wikczynski is one of the legendary old Ric factory guys.

His work is gorgeous.

I don't believe Paul Wilczynski was an "old factory guy" with RIC, but was, for a time, licensed to produce acoustic guitars bearing the Rickenbacker brand in his own shop in the 2010s. He is known for his beautiful rebuilds and restorations, several of which I have owned.

Paul wasn't one of the old factory guys but he knows the old methods and he does excellent work. He's now located in Italy.

I knew he was building acoustics and legend for refinishes and restorations , I just assumed he had to have worked in the factory at one point.

He's now located in Italy.

That's great news. So much closer to me, if I ever need his skills.
