'86 4003S JG/BT! And the starting price is low, $1,282. Almost a Blackstar minus the enameled board (but with a bonus - 7-bolt lift-proof tailpiece).

That one might stay low, being an S. Very nice.

That JG 4005 is way too high. At least there's a Make Offer button.

Another one-off "experimental finish" from Ric-outlet. This time a 4004Cii.

They call it "Brown Burst" - not Walnut or Montezuma Brown. Nice flame front and back.

I like it! Did you see the Autumnglo 4003 someone was asking about on TalkBass? That was nice too!

ATG used to be my least favorite Ric finish (with BBR and clownburst FG) but it grew on me and now I think of it as "old Hofner-glo".

"Walnut", the glossy version of ATG, looks great on 4002's: black binding really helps this finish look its best. Here's a gorgeous 4001 WAL w/pinstripe binding:

I like the brown burst. Not exactly a tobaccoburst, but similar.

Ishibashi offers a white v63 in Japan... "normal" headstock. Could be a refin, could be a one-off.

Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

RIC should do a limited run 4000v59.

Wow, that's nice, shame they removed the original Volume knob.

Here's something I have never seen before... 4080 in glossy Walnut (serial # is WL... how appropriate).

From Olivia's, so click the link for tons of hi-res drool-worthy pics. $7,190 BIN price.

Nicely aged. Price doesn't seem out of line considering the rarity.
