Not a Tux. The 4003SPC "Tuxedo" had white enameled maple fretboard with microdots, and being an "S" model did not have neck or body binding. This one is a run-of-the-mill white 4001 that has yellowed a lot. Black binding, guard and nameplate were standard for white 4001's of the period.

This '76 could use a refin, IMHO.

That's definitely not a Tuxedo. Not even close. They were 1987 only and had a white painted fretboard with tiny dot inlays.

This is just a grungy 4001 with black trim, and worse yet, it has the dreaded Seymour Duncan bridge pickup.

EDIT: Ilan beat me to it!

Yellowed white Rics are always a dilemma. White Fenders age beautifully. But white Rics... not so much.

That's a great price on that Blueboy, and it hasn't greened like some of them.

Looks like the Blue Boy didn't sell.

When I was putting the book together, photos of the 2050 were some of the most difficult to find - only one is in the book. The entire 2000 series didn't sell well, apparently, but 2020s, 2030s, and 2060s were easier to find.
