Well, one Doublecut and two Moneys (Monies?) to be exact. Another chapter in Gibson bass history closed.

This anal fixation is hitting a peak with him I think and affecting other organs and senses. ::) Answer honestly, John, what color does the bass in the middle have? Is it not a tiny bit blue to you, nein?!

When I saw the post all it had was a ? for the picture.

While we are at it do you observe any differences between the three other than finishes?

I'm relieved then. If simple masturbation makes you go blind who knows what this other stuff might do?

The root beer Doublecut with the gold hardware sounds airiest, brightest, most modern and transparent, but not thin or clinical. The two Moneys have a more vintage tone - denser, blurrier, more compressed, less presence - thanks to the walnut toneplate. Between the two Moneys, the satin one sounds a bit better because of the thinner finish , errrm, for whatever reason! It's more responsive.

I like the feel of those satin finned necks as they become glossy over time (doesn't take long with me, I even "polished" my Blackbird that way).

The satin one sounds better because it looks better.

Blue is one of my favorite colors but something about that bright loud blue top really disagrees with me.

Perhaps the not quite color-matching peacock blue DR strings I offer?

Ah, I see, a sort of "Which came first, hen or egg?" conundrum.  :D ;D :D
