All,

For the life of me, I cannot find the hex wrench that fits the Money bass' bridge so I can fix the intonation and string height............what size key is this so I can get a new one??  Also, can these keys be bought in 'bulk' online somehwere rather than get a whole wrench set??

Thanks!

Dave W

It's unusual to find small size hex key wrenches (under about 6mm or 1/4") available outside of a set. I'm sure you can find 'em in bulk from an industrial supplier somewhere but I'm guessing it wouldn't be worth the time and money.

Sorry, don't know what size fits.

The bridge is made by a German company called ABM (Müller & Sohn GmbH) hence the metric size, 1.5 mm for the bridge adjustment screws.

Which is the same size as Warwick uses on their bridges. So you might get lucky with ordering a bunch of them from Warwick spare parts.

Or try this here: www.wiha.com

And remember: Before you get hectic, better switch to metric!

Spend $3 on a set.

You're being a turd!

I want to get the right set in one trip, and if I knew the exact size, if I could get many at once in bulk!

Thank you kindly....I wasn't sure if they were metric or not.

Much appreciated!

I missed the part where you explained why you need a large number of the same size hex wrench. Inquiring turds want to know.
Actually, what do I care, later.

Well, I don't know....you posted twice!  Tell us!

For those of us who aren't used to the metric system. the comic xkcd has a handy guide. I'm almost sure it's 100% 5% accurate.  ;)

Damn Dave, that's great! We should print up a t-shirt for Uwe.  ;D

I'm always baffled by your imperial smugness in your utter metric ignorance!  :o Waiting for the bible belt state vote to be held according to which the metric system is ousted from classroom education or required to be described as "a theory only". Creationism and imperial measurements really go hand in hand ...
