the password if needed is bassplayer

the neck has to be set deeper but here is the bedroom built SG as it stands now. it has to be set in the thickness of the "wings" and the little holes will disappear in the bottom of the joint channel.

in one of the pics i am actually holding the bass up by the neck, it fits that tight and was all done by hand with the help of a drill press and a chisel. it presses together very easily with a "c" clamp and one finger or a fist pounding it together.

the epi has to get a pickup but i don't know which one. a 60's i have or the NOS 70's with the trim ring. the Grovers finish out the neck (almost). i am going to eventually set it deeper and give it more neck angle.

the rest is off a Fender. i like it a bit better than the curved Gibby one.

the centerline is just on the tape while i am building.

when i bought it, it was called lacewood. i'll post a pick of the back in the same album. it is mahogany and lacewood on the back.

thinking about selling it to help finance the other build, or maybe selling the other build to finance this one. this one is going to get the black trim with the black chrome Dark Star 2, the black Schaller bridge and the black Grovers, ebony knobs and maybe the ebony fretboard if i can trim and re-radius the board to get rid of my screw-ups. maybe a new board as i really gouged that one when i put in the maple fret lines.
