They made antisemetic ones in the war. And they were responsible for THIS.


It actually was animated in Japan but, the story was German and it was made for the German market. Although later it was dubbed in many languages.

I had no idea that ze "Krümmelmonster" was eradicated from Sesame Street for PC reasons!

And I do miss Speedy Gonzales' "die schnellste Maus von ganz Mexiko" battle-cry "arriva, arriva!"

You know which cartoon I always thought low-pc as a child? Roadrunner. I always felt sorry for the poor coyote and found that creepy bird incredibly smug.

A member of my stepfather's extended family emigrated to the US right after WWI. Fifty-plus years later he still sounded exactly like Gen. Burkhalter from Hogan's Heroes.

But no, zere are no stereötypes.
