We all know that songs like "Fame" by David Bowie and "Girlfriend is better" and "Slippery people" by the Talking heads prove that one chord songs can be really good and don't sound really monotone as well. But when a band pulls off a song in one note and make it sound cool and not monotone it must be the greatest ever.
Leave it up to Morphine to do exactly just that.
So sad that Mark Sandman isn't with us anymore, he really had something special going on.
