Last night my daughter, accidentally shut her door with my I pod hanging out still connected to my car's AUX sterieo.

She noticed it after we had been driving a few minutes, while it was still playing.

I pulled over and she retrieved it, scuffed up (went about 35 MPH), but never missed a beat,  just like an AIG CEO!

My daughter's friends sure got a kick out of it, who were in the car at the time.

Nice!  You should contact Apple.  I bet they'd pay good money for a story like that.

Kind of like how a guy left his iPhone on his car and it fell off on the freeway. It was there for a hour getting run over including a 18 wheeler right in front of the guy as he went back for it. Still worked and was even getting a call in when he picked it up but it did have some scratches and a cracked screen. I think apple replaced it free of charge too.

i would file the iphone story under urban myth. my cell phone fell of the hood of my truck and was toast without anyone running over it, of course your results will vary. ;)
