Hieronymous:

I always have my music phases. I can be completely into a band for weeks/months. Could be The Small Faces or The Band, but now it's The Who.

So:

Can you (maybe at  'Other Bass Brands') tell us some more about the Spyder? It looks like an Alembic Spyder, but no silver web-inlay, no dummy coil between both pick ups... I'm no Alembic connaiseur, so tell us!

I added a post to my Alembic Mania thread.

Booker T. has the whole couch to sit on, but he's always sitting on the remote control of the tv. Can't be comfortable, but he does it all the time.

I thought of Booker T. when I took this pic: Fulltone Bass Drive as pillow!

I'll show this great pic to Booker T! :) I'll make some new ones soon!

I finally found a case through eBay for my MIJ Bas VI reissue. It's my first blonde case! (In my mind, I think I was kind of thinking that it would be tweed, but it's no big deal. Only thing is, it looks like it could get dirty easily, but that's what cases are for, right?!!) Here's Sadie investigating:

Here's another shot of her admiring the inside with the bass:

I'm working on getting this thing into playing shape, might post in the Fender forum at some point. The Bass VIs were pretty hard to find for a while there, especially for a decent price. Even the MIJ reissues were going for over a $1000, sometimes closer to $1500! I was very lucky, picked mine up for around $400 plus an Alembic Superfilter that had been included for free when I bought my Alembic doubleneck, so I think I got a pretty good deal!

Only pretty good? I'd say you came out way ahead on that deal.

I still hope the all-black Booker T. will go and sleep in my white lining of my SG RI case. Or in the black one of Loes' Guild acoustic.

Great pic!
