I've somehow managed without a Jazz bass. Quickly sold the ones I've had , they've never stayed , I don't know why.

It was the same with me for decades, until I got my '77 that became a keeper because it has the thickest neck (for a J).

Congrats on the 66 Jazz, love the transition specs.

I've just picked up one bass so far this year , so I'm quite overdue. Traded one amp I wasn't using for another I haven't used much. Bought one new amp I couldn't pass on.
