It's been a while since I've lurked...but I've added a broken in NR in burgundy.... I missed the 2011 I had and found a nice local price here in Nova Scotia.  It's already experienced some checking and that nitro fade where an arm would rest.  Fretboard looks a bit dry.
Couple of beauty marks in there too, but it's a nice player.  Still tweaking the set up a bit.

Color is nice and it has a proper bridge - the holy immaculate trinity.

The alleged beauty of a stringholder has always escaped me, it clutters everything up.

I beg to differ.  ;)

Nice on the Alembic, granted, carelessly functional brutalism on the TBird. Now go and play with your weird meters.

They are really pretty nice basses, overall, I think one of Gibson's best efforts. Good pickups and hardware, well balanced and they sound great!

Same.  I bought that Minglewood fretless off you some time ago.  It's been rehomed for a while now.

Beautiful NR congratulations!I have both a Inverness Green and Sparkling Burgundy, the Inverness I modded the crap out of, the Burgundy I left stock. I'm resisting the urge to put a 60's tailpiece on it. ;D
Gibson did a good job with these, give it a big headstock, 60s style bridge and correct pickguard shape it'd be damn near perfect.
