It cost a lot of money, but I think it was worth it. I'm having trouble getting sound out of it, but I have to say the tuning stability is remarkable!

It's ideal for a bassist looking for that foamy tone.

(hesitantly) Is it still neck-heavy?

Tom was always concerned about that, he also disliked how the TBird body bumped against his (tender) loins bruising them (foam should go a long way to alleviate that problem, trust the Gibson Custom Shop to be all creative when challenged!):

Finally a bass where your parents wouldn't have yelled "Turn that darn thing down!" - great for beginners wishing to preserve family ties.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

You just can't fake the feel of nine-ply neck-thru tone foams

I notice the case says video prop!!!!! What videoand isthat yhe reason the pickups are cranked down? I was looking at yhis myself but it looked a little suspect,  for what they were asking it should have been shipped in playable condition.  I hope that any issues are easy fixes.

Weird that they built a flat prop like this, but added real knobs.
