I really liked the Sunn Coliseum-300 amp I had.  Wonderful EQ options, and sounded great.  I only sold it because I got old and had to go with lighter gear.  I think their decision to use Class D as part of their lineup makes a lot of sense.

I was not aware that Mission was a U.S. based OEM for other companies. The brand relaunch makes even more sense in that context.

I may need to get one of these T shirts.

In a world of class D bass heads that fit in your gig bag pocket and produce 500—1,000 watts of awesome bass tone without clipping or farting out, I honestly don't understand these. But to each their own.

It looks better than my GK MB500, I'll give you that.

Yes the Class D handbag amps sure are a nice thing if you don't have a crew or even bandmates to help load in and out. I love my pair of Streamliners. But the best tone I get is from my 67 Showman through a Sunn 4x12" sealed cab with 60w Celestions. Which comes sorta close to what my lamented 68 Hiwatt produced.

Thanks to Happy Face for reminding me of this.  I've always used GK amps and agree the MB series doesn't look great (sound great, though).  But have you checked out the newer Legacy series?  I love my L800.  It looks like a mini 800RB.  Sounds and looks great, IMO.

You can still get those amps serviced by the guy that designed them. The front LED had gone out on mine , so I sent it off. It's like a brand new amp now , and was well worth investing in.
It's been a while since they were made.

At $3500 and 160 pounds for head and cab, I think the target market is small. Definitely not someone who has to load in and out every day.

I mean, this old school kind of rig definitely has a visual appeal .... And getting enough volume to be heard next to Hendrix via sheer speaker surface area (a dozen 15"!!!!) and efficiency (JBL!) instead of wattage ... it seems wild now, but those were the times.

I've never played through anything like that rig, I bet it would be shockingly loud for the power involved (supposedly this is a pair of 200s, so a mere 130 watts!)

If I were in something like a doom metal band and had roadies, I bet it would be fun to stand in front of that.

Instead, it's the tiny Shuttle, unless I don't even feel like carrying one twelve and one ten!  Ugh my single twelve isn't even neodymium! f*** it, I'll just show up with my bass and risk playing through the venue's amp du jour! :D :D :D
Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

I'll happily live with my Shuttle 6.2 and 12Tcab. I have the 2x10T cab as well, but can't say I have ever needed it.

I'm not sure if anybody would be interested in this.  And I'm not completely sure I would be, either.  But they have a ton of cool Sunn T-shirts from all over the place now.  Personally, I do tend to go for this kind of thing myself when it comes to T-shirts, mostly, of course, suitable for summer, my favorite time of the year.  Certainly, the opposite of what we're experiencing now, when it feels like the North Pole has moved to your hometown.
