Nice bass at a very decent price. I don't think that the upper cover/handrest was there originally, though.

I bought an SB-300 just before moving back to Europe a few months ago. The sound is different and quite enjoyable IMO, but the neck profile is weird for me, so it gets the least playing time - barely any - out of all of my basses. Shame...

It isn't even a Gibson handrest. It a 7ender handrest...  ;)

The pickup surrounds and control plate don't seem to be original. Still a nice little bass.

Not a bad bass at all. Verges on Jazz Bass territory in sound, not something you generally find with Gibson basses.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

It would match my SB-300. Maybe I should bring it back from Holland,  going down there in a couple of weeks.
