If they offered worldwide shipping I'd hit the BIN in a second. And maybe sell for double and make an easy $1K. Or keep it, looks like a cool bass, I love blue with white binding.

A 2004 with that shape of headstock is going to have a chunky neck. It's also got the "blue bleed" into the binding. Still a decent price, especially for overseas.

Yep, blue bleed. Still very nice. And far better than glueburst :-)

That was my first thought too. I had 3 chunky necked Rics, sold all of them. Still, good price if you can live with the neck thickness.

I love thick neck Rics. The pencil neck is the only thing I don't like about my Shadow. My son has a baseball bat 1986 4003S/BT that sounds killer. I traded a so-so 1977 P bass for it 12 years ago TODAY.

I've never had a thick neck on a bass that has harmed sound.
