The Reverse-Non-Reverse is finally done

Finally got a proper pickguard made for it.  Probably having a luthier thin out the neck closer to the Reverse's profile, but other than that it's done.

Second pic with its fraternal twin.  And with the silver-cap knobs which I think look better on this bass to balance out the rear section.

Thanks, Rob!  I find it a real handful to play with the much chunkier neck.  I hope the neck can in fact be thinned out.  I found someone who can probably do it.

Very cool! I have thought about shaving the neck on my 2021 Nonreverse but the more I play it the less inclined I am to do it.

I hear you.  But this chunky neck makes some things I'm used to doing a real struggle.  If it's not fun, what's the point?

I've come to love some chunky necks , if you play them enough you become comfortable with them , and develop a little more hand strength . But it takes time .

I'm used to holding something chunky in my hand - hand strength remains sufficient even at my age.  8)
