Last I heard, the '56  EB once owned and played by Olsie Robinson was owned by Bob Daisley. But it turns up in a Julien's auction of Little Richard memorabilia late last year. It sold for $16K And as of June 25th of this year, it turned up here.

  Bob's been selling things latley. That's a very cool bass with a great history. If I  had 16k lying around I would have bought it. I  forget how much I like Little Richard,  I think I'll go make a spotify playlist. ;)

I wonder what they want for it now? It's going to take a very well off Little Richard fan to shell out that much for an EB. Too bad it's not in the U.S. I feel like that's a national treasure.
