Eyebrow raising, sad and oddly understandable all together, especially when I reflect on the final paragraph:

"Since the start of the pandemic, people have been desperate to cope with the solitude of self-isolation and lockdown measures. While many have resorted to traditional measures like purchasing a pet or using dating apps, sex doll sales have also skyrocketed as people seek an emotional crutch."

I suspect the pandemic is taking a heavy toil on some people mentally. I can give personal accounts of things I've encountered from people, but I'm sure everyone has their own stories. I can't even begin to imagine what those who went through the Black Death had to endure.

"Ex-Machina" was already on my mental list of movies I've got to see. Now it will have to go to the top of the list. I've just finished watching "The Hero" with Sam Elliott and it was good.

Ex-Machina is a chamber play, but then the best sci fi flicks often are.

Ex machina is a nice movie.

But Cherry 2000 is even nicer

I've seen Cherry 2000. That was quite a while ago. I liked it, but that's to be expected since sci-fi is my favorite genre. I'm looking forward to Ex-Machina now.

It a cool series. Bu there is zero sex in it. Not even a hint.
It it had been a Dutch series there would at least have been some titties in the very first second, no doubt.
