I hope it's successful, but Kalamazoo is hardly a tourist mecca.

If Uwe's collection were on loan, though, no doubt the millions of Gibson bass lovers would flock to Kalamazoo.

Fitgers Brewery in Duluth Minnesota is one of our favorite getaways. I'm hoping they do something similar with the Kalamazoo factory. I've been meaning to go there for years, this should motivate me to finally do it.....

P.S. If Uwe's Kollection was on display, I'd have to stay a week!

I was in touch with Gibson Europe a few weeks ago.
And I actually suggested they should set up a Gibson bass museum in Frankfurt.
The guy who I spoke with liked the idea.
But I don't think he took it too seriously...
