My attempt to buy another LP Junior Tribute bass, which I've mentioned on other threads, didn't end well.  After two weeks of waiting, my order got cancelled.  The MF guy said my order would have been stuck as a back order into infinity.  These may show as listed on the site, but they don't exist.

That was always one of the coolest bass lines in the verse.

If I were in a KISS tribute band, I would definitely buy one of these basses. The look and sound are perfect.

I like that line. It's simple but still melodically interesting, I like that it uses so much of the range of the bass.  That doesn't seem to be in fashion in hard/heavy rock for a long time.
Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

Beards come on a bit since the last photo I saw of you, Dave...

That's too bad, but look on the bright side, now you can buy a Guild Starfire.

He does have an impressive beard.

Actually, even at this moment I'm waiting to hear from MF about the Starfire II.  I would have preferred, of course, another LP Junior DC which I already know I like, but obviously that's not going to happen.  I think the DC bass was better received than some people expected, despite it being discontinued.  I've read a number of positive comments about it, even from people who normally don't seem to favor Gibsons.

Excellently played, great bass line, the Tribute sounds great, and I'm am left with serious, SERIOUS beard envy.

The upkeep on that beast must be phenomenal, in itch-factor alone...
