It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

I hope so.  It wasn't exactly smooth sailing for them the first time.

Always loved the Capricorn logo

and Captain Beyond's Sufficiently Breathless is one of my favourite early 70ies albums, really liked the percussion work on it.

I was going to mention that. I remember pulling out the sleeve of the Dixie Dregs "What If" and seeing it for the first time.

Also, I'm a Capricorn (and she's a Cancer).   :P

Maybe they'll celebrate with a concert and some new modern artists will perform with the older ones. Imagine Elvin Bishop having a duet with Billie Eilish.  :o

If Billie were to play with Elvin, who could hear her? She'd have to completely change her style and delivery.  IMO that would be a major improvement for her.

I'm a big Elvin Bishop fan, but not Billie. At all.

Let me guess, she saw your picture in a music magazine? And you rhyme "nearer" with "meereer", Stargear?

I'll take a pass on Billie too. I'm glad people here didn't gang up to make a dumpster fire of a discussion about how crappy modern music is. In regards to generational differences in musical taste, Bill Burr made a hilarious video where he admits his dad was right about 80s rock being garbage. Had to share it.

Let's put it this way: Not all people with Jewish roots are great literates and Stanley Eisen is perhaps no Robert Zimmermann, mutual occasional preference for clown white or not.
