Gibson Announces New Chuck Berry 1955 ES-350T Guitar

I had read that this was in the works, it was formally announced today on what would have been Chuck's 93rd birthday.

Beautiful, and only $14,115.  :o

How can it be a "signature " model when he's no longer with us?
a tribute model yes but I always understood a signature model was one built with the artists input?

I get what you're saying, he's not around to have input, but it's an accurate copy of his ES-350T, and his family approves.

Interesting...the headstock face at 2:46 and 3:42 shows orange peel and other surface imperfections.

Otherwise you would'nt "Play Authentic".

Gibson's press release and website page make no mention of any deliberate imperfections. I'm thinking this is Gibson's QC still having problems...authentic problems.

If you are ever in the Nashville airport look in the Gibson Bar there is one bass in the place and it has more orange peel than Minute Maid.
