Uwe reports that he was able to be driven to Cologne to see Whitesnake in concert.

Sorry for your loss, Uwe. It's an unusual feeling when one understands that one's standing one step closer to eternity. But, in a way, there's some kind of peace in that feeling... :rolleyes:

Uwe, you must be a sado-masochist. Watching/listening David Coverdale struggle through his repertoire is no sinecure. Especially if you're huge Deep Purple fan, it must hurt an awful lot to hear those songs being butchered by someone who hasn't been able to sing those songs properly for at least the past 10 years.
I can imagine you want to see the original Deep Purple band member perform live, for good old times sake. Or just to be able to tick that box on the bucket list. But to go back year after year and only see/hear it getting worse, just puzzles me.
