Brilliant idea, you store your Epiphone in there and it will sound just like the real thing.

I'm depressed now. I've lost tens of thousands of Dollars throwing my Gibson cardboard boxes away.

The box is empty. So must be the seller's head.

I still have two Gibson boxes. What will I do with all the extra money?

Looked at his other items and found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223360855569 -- what a bargain!

Ooh, I have one or maybe two of those boxes.  ;D  The Gary Rossington case candy is equally hilarous.

Grog

I have several complete with box candy!

It has 8 watchers!  :-\

This isn't the first time I have seen this (mostly in the local online classifieds, where most such nutcases live), but I had no idea they had appreciated so much in value (and that despite the damage/missing parts).

If I had some of those boxes I'd watch the auction too - if it actually sells for any significant amount of money I'd be "sell one like this" so dang fast.  I have seen stranger things on ebay.  Takes all kinds.

... could also be a money laundering/embezzling/tax cheat scheme - same guy buys and sells himself these boxes using different ebay accounts.

Or maybe his wife demanded that he sell some gear. "See, honey, it didn't sell."

Cardboard box!  That's luxury.

Some dark secret lurks behind all this ... "Honey, why is our cellar full of all those old cardboard boxes, they smell bad!"

"No, Commissioner, he never seemed to mingle much."

You need to get out more, Uwe... or maybe a few select fins to hide in them there boxes rather that admit to them...

Not too many years ago, a daughter was going through a storage locker that once belonged to her deceased mother, and found three mummified fetuses. It ended up that the gal worked at the same place that I worked for almost 40 years.....
