Interesting bit of history. Way overpriced for most of us.

That's a lot of money for a piece of paper. You'd have to be a very serious G&L collector to spend that much on it. It would be nice if it ended up at G&L, but still it is understandable to me that it is sold off like this.

I agree that it would be great to have it in a G&L archive but I don't think that G&L has the same mystique as Fender or Gibson.
