I wish I could find my old one from the Daisy Chain Days....Sold it to a guy named Phil who would travel across the US with his 3-5 year old daughter buying guitars and basses for some wealthy Japanese guys...He carried a Motorola brick cell phone...around 1990...I can describe my Bass..Natural...under the now replaced original Kluson bass tuners are 4 plugged tuner holes  because I had traded it away for a few months and The guy had put Grover bass tuners in there for a while...I had My old tech Steve Dvorak plug and redial and re-install the original tuners....and the strap pegs...all 3 are big dowels plugged in the body....hidden by the original strap pegs...It was a very light color...almost Korina-ish....Wish I still had the serial number written down...I'll try to find some live pics..

I seriously would trade  My 1965 Thunderbird II to get it back... I also had a black '76  that I also sold to Phil that had a route under the bridge to lower the bridge so when i got it, I had Steve Dvorak fill it and refinish it. It would show under blacklight...Wish I had One of those basses.

BAZ! What a beautiful bass. Natural might be my fav T-Bird finish. I tried to work a deal on a '76 about 12 years ago, but we couldn't agree on a price. Good luck with the search.

I think you'd be disappointed if you did.  I wouldn't trade either of my '64s for any BiCen. My '77 is unmolested but it's still a crude imitation of the originals.  The pickups  just aren't up to snuff, it's easy to tell much less hand work went into contouring and finishing the body and it's heavier compared to a Sixties bird.  I bought it because my first TBird was a similar white, introduced in '77, bought new BiCen.  I don't regret buying it, price was good from tme original owner.  But it won't be the one I save first when Hurricane Henry threatens... just my 2 cents.

It's more of a sentimental thing. If it's broken now, forget it...but if it's not...Here's what I just picked up the other day...a UFO bass right after a I saw a delta shaped UFO over McHenry. 3 lights in the sky shaped like a triangle.
