It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

Way too young. Talented guitar player. He played all the bass on the first Skynyrd album too. RIP.

He played bass on most of Second helping too. Great interview here.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Darn. The creative force of their early albums.

Sometimes, I'm happy that I was neither ever a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd nor of the Ramones. Bad karma.

There is only karma... rip Ed...
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

The Showtime documentary has been out for a while and I'm sure Ed King got a chance to see it.  He must have been pleased.  He is portrayed in quite a favorable light.  I just now saw it.  It's really good.  It isn't exhaustive, but still provides a lot of background and insight.

I saw this, very sad, I'm a big Skynyrd fan and I love Ed's work on Pronounced. Did anyone ever visit his forum? Very interesting insight into life inside Skynyrd
