I'm surprised "nobody" has posted this yet, but happy 80th to Ritchie Blackmore!

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Those hips don't lie!

Poor Ritchie. No wonder he started trashing TV cameras later in his career. Buried trauma.

Just posted on the Jack Bruce channel.

I always enjoy the videos where you can see Jack's RH technique clearly.

Dave Edmunds is to Dave W what Deep Purple is to me, a deep, sincere and unselfish love that demands nothing. Touching.

Come on, say it, Dave, open up: He IS your favorite rock guitarist?

The original single (1963), an old favorite. His only national hit, but he was a longtime favorite in Jackson, MS. He died in a small plane crash on the way back from a gig -- how often has that happened?

A much later release.

Go back to your Thin Lizzy matching their children's Riverdance Celtic melodies painstakingly with thirds! 😂

I like it.  And funny thing is that the snake he's wearing is a boa constrictor.  Not poisonous, and quite docile.  But of course a boa is totally on-brand for Alice, being on the covers of both Killer and Constrictor.
