New cover from the Petersens. Mama Petersen on bass.

Nice!  Cool blend of traditional sound with contemporary updates to add some appeal.

Elton John took his stage name from Elton Dean of the Soft Machine. A lot of British rock roads lead to weird Canterbury-scene bands and artists if you drill deep enough!

Ritchie Blackmore wasn't in an early iteration of Hatfield and the North, as far as I can tell.

Don't listen to it, you never did before, so why start now. Just posting this for myself.

Back before M*A*S*H* became a cesspool of Alan Alda doing terrible Groucho impressions.

And of course.

Back when Thunder was on hiatus their lead guitarist Luke Morley formed a new band, The Union.
I think they should have been huge.

Loudon is great.  I've gotten to meet him and he's a really nice guy. My wife and I went to his brother Andy's wedding.  It was quite the event in this small church on Shelter Island in NY.  Small private concert with all the Wainwrights and Roches singing.  Andy seems to be the only one in the family with no musical talent.

Never knew Brad Gillis and Jack Blades were that funky

Always liked him just like I always liked Detroit.

My fave number of his ...

He shouldn't be blamed that he looked a little like JD Vance with long hair, he was first.
