And make America great again, who wouldn't want to be a Dictator for a day?

Handsome Dick is an incredibly nice and charismatic guy.  He's my friend's daughter's godfather.

I thought it heart wrenching, as in, my heart (along with brain and eyes) were begging to be wrenched from my body and tossed into the Main  ;D but to each their own opinions and impressions, it's all subjective.  I think she's very creative/talented, regardless...I like some of her music, but some of it I can't stand.
Sadowsky fan/owner, and collector of amps/cabs for no good reason

Despite the subject matter of his hits, Gary Stewart was married to his sweetheart for 43 years. When she died, he committed suicide. He was 58.

It was the portrait of a man actually wrestling with his madness (and winning in the end, yet paying a high price for it) and of one freeing himself of his own public image (tragically also as perceived by his significant other). On that basis I thought it a deep movie, especially in current times where mass shootings/killings perpetrators have so often been egged on by social media and attempt to project themselves as valiant antiheroes. Maybe it shouldn't have been called "Joker", I thought the ties to the Batman/DC Universe tenuous even in the first film (which I still liked, but the second one was even better). I guess people were hoping for/expecting something else. Already that first film was to my mind much more Taxi Driver than the genesis of a Batman nemesis. Phoenix and Gaga worked extremely well as a couple, the chemistry was right there.

First time the Main river has been mentioned on these holy pages, you geography buff! 😁

Oh, ok, now that is where the inspiration for this here likely came from!

Highlander

Just watched Classic Albums... something called "Machine Head"... not sure if the band went anywhere after that...
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Mallard! Essentially the Magic Band sans Beefheart. Reminds me of the Minutemen, Meat Puppets, Fatso Jetson.

I doubt it. Really a hopeless bunch. Only had one song.

But listen to Led Zeppelin instead, now that is a really good band! Accurate guitar solos played neatly, swinging drums skipping om top of the beat and not dragging behind, a dry production where nothing gets buried in echo-o-o-o or delay-ay-ay-ay, ferocious keyboard solos with classical influence, an always clearly audible bass and a singer who won't avoid hot sociopolitical subjects, yet eschewed any Tokien'esque or Viking fantasy nonsense. Legendary for their tight concert performances, heartfelt hard-on appreciation of minors

& daring + eclectic sartorial style (mother's blouses, knotted; dragon prints on pyjamas; Nazi officer's hats; Clockwork Orange bowler hats).

What's not to like?!

Not bad, but sounds like an easy listening ballad.

I'll just listen to more Gary Stewart.

You mean Led Zep were the original real hair metal? 😂

Needless to say the wig quotient has meanwhile been reduced!

At least Jolene T had a good excuse to wear one.
But the roadkills that Little Ian and Blackers had on their heads are/were pretty ridiculous.

Great band!
Yesterday I watched an interview with Danny Bowes. He will be returning to the stage in june, after a long recovery process.
He won't be singing yet. But it is amazing to see the progress he has made so far allows him to do this.
