Leo Sayer had a glimmer of recognition when I was in school as he turned up on the reality TV show Big Brother, and made an arse of himself. Cue lots of ribald juxtaposing of an angry middle aged man with archive clips of him in mime makeup singing in a virtual falsetto.

This is a gorgeous interpretation of a Sayer work:

Are these the guys from Argent backing Roger?  :o

Depeche Mode are a great band, the only New Wave synth band that prevailed over for what is now 45 years, almost half a century.

It's a bit David Bowie Berlin phase/Peter Gabriel'esque, isn't it? But amazingly rendered.

My wife Floor is in a new band. She already sings lead in several bands. But in this new band she does backing vocals. With the two ladies (Lilian and Marloes) that also sing with her in the Etta James Experience and in Stapled.

Lilian takes care of the lead vocal in this new band: Mother Factor.
A tribute to Mother's Finest.

This promo was filmed during their try-out concert, a few weeks ago.

Nice! Killer vocals throughout. I'm surprised Mother's Finest is even known in your part of the world.

Haha, you're not the first American that says this
I think they used to be bigger in The Netherlands and Germany than they ever were in their homeland. Their Rockpalast concert from 1978 is legendary. Made them huge stars overnight, in Europe.
