I hadn't noticed.

I detest loud, over-emoting, pop singers who use melisma to cover up that they can't sing in tune.

Now, there are plenty of female country singers who can do it all. Was just listening to Rose Maddox earlier.

This popped up on Frankie Miller's facebook page the other day.

It's a live recording from 1986, taken straight from the mixing console.

With Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy, Motörhead)  on guitar, Phil Taylor (Motörhead) on drums an Chrissie Stewart on bass.

Buck and Dwight Yoakam, late in Buck's career.

Buck's first chart hit, from 1959.

For the uninitiated, Flake is the wonderfully odd keyboarder of Rammstein.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

He must be a ray of sunshine in the house of Flake

He should have left that Pogues classic alone. It brings nothing new/better.

I don't have an opinion on Flake's version of the Pogues song but I'm glad Uwe included it in the post. The first two songs by themselves would have been unsettling.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.
