Flash photography will do that... maybe in person it's more gradual.

naaw,the burst is nice but the tiger stripe is too much.i do prefer tri burst on the darker side.but i'd love this bass in any color.does any body know anything about those Seymore Duncan Phat cat pickups? they look interesting.

The Phat Cats were a project developed by SD and Hamer, I don't think the bass version has ever been available to the general public. SD did release the guitar version as a stock item, it's a P-90 style in a humbucker housing.

I really dig the Monaco bass, but they're very expensive new and I can't see a lefty one ever showing up used.
