It is if you're German or Japanese (apparently).  Don't try to understand.

Jake is US-American with Czech origins, that is why he has a difficult time telling Chinese and Japanese apart. They all do look the same, apparently. To the casual western eye.

Of course, coupling German with Japanese was handy due to the Axis Powers connection, but he needn't have gone that far: China was an (earlier) ally and supported by the Reich against the Japanese invaders all during the 20ies and 30ies.

That only ended when the Japanese explicitly asked for it to stop in late 1941 following their little Hawaiian surprise visit. Just look at Chinese uniforms of the time ... (and the Kuomintang National Revolutionary Army was trained by German generals at the time too):

And of Polish origin. I know. Maybe I was trying to insinuate something following his "Chinese are Japanese"-gaffe? Subliminal messages, us Judas Priest fans are schooled at them!

I get it!!

Pure bloodlines, pure beer.

Ausgezeighnet!   ;)

Pure bloodlines my ass! Germany is historically a transit and immigration country, we have bloodlines from everywhere. It took an illicitly born Austrian to make us believe it was different!!!

LOL.  Fair enuf, but in my defense how am I supposed to tell  (you can't even see their faces, not that that would help - I'd like to see how well you do playing German or Pole) - when seeing kinky bondage wear on a bunch of asians, assuming they're Japanese is rather fair.  Might as well be a squid in there.  I tried reverse image search, but couldn't confirm anything.

In other news poor Gwyneth is experiencing another onslaught of attacks from the press:

I didn't know wearing a bra caused cancer, guess I'm going topless from now on.  ;D

Colon cleansing and steamed clam never seemed like a good idea to me.

"kinky bondage wear on a bunch of Asians"

Jake, they are contortionists in a Chinese State Circus, that is their stage clothes! Can't something be innocent for once?
