I've seen used Johnson scrolls in the 1800-2200 range.  There was one a ways back for 1500 over at TB, iirc.  New they're quite a bit more (not sure exactly - 3-4k?).  The old Ampeg AEBs with mystery pickups seem to be falling in the 2-3k range.  This might go on the higher end of that, since the AMBs don't turn up much, use normal length strings, and have a magnetic pickup.

Bruce's new price is $3800 and he is talking about raising that.  He will lock in your price when he gets your deposit.  I Got #70 for $3400  and if he ever builks it i have a deposit for Devil bass #2 for $2300.   Hell he has had my deposit since 2003 >:(

Wow~ 1968. Cooool
That's the real deal. The ol' lefty Ampegs go for more, y'know.

Bruce Johnson's are better tho, I reckon. ...& you get one Custom Made the way you want it!

...eventually. ;)
