Très lovely, the riff is straight out of the parts box for Purple tracks, the kind of thing a guitarist in a rehearsal space starts playing and everyone breaks out laughing: "Are we Deep Purple now or what?"

The slightly cheesy piano in the bridges and towards the end of Don’s organ solo (very chromatic as is typical for him, Don has jazz as opposed to Jon Lord’s blues and classical roots) is pure ABBA, Don channeling his inner Benny Andersson as he is sometimes wont to do.

And it has a real chorus. With DP, that is usually a coincidence.

I really like it, it’s a bit banal and plays with cliches, but in a feel good, life-affirming way.

I still have the urge to overdub the bass with a Ric.
