It was available in the USA with the original cover, until it started taking off.  Another cover that was changed in the USA after the album started selling was Scorpions' Love Drive.

The head shop where I bought most of my records had both Scorpions albums and the the Roxy one with the original covers. That Blind Faith album was another one that could run afoul of censors as well...
