So do I. That singer nails Mogg's tone - compliments, that is not an easy thing to do.

Force It was a pun on faucet - hence the cover showing both the appliance and the, errm, act (which spawned heated discussion in the US of A whether it was of hetero- or homosexual nature, in any case no musician of UFO, not even Mad Mickey was involved in the shooting):

And if they had added a pic of her on the cover, it would have been a triple pun!

That's why the USA version looked like this:

Got to admit, I always prefered the US cover of Electric Ladyland...

Love it!

Thanks!  I'll pass your comments on  to the guys...

We have more examples which I could upload (to Youtube) but right now I'm running into technical difficulties:  won't allow uploads, either due to a software glitch, or some other computer issue.  Making me crazy... >:(

btw, enjoy the Nasty Habits videos myself...

Well, Rob, large parts of North America are rather rural and a nice shot of vegetation gives the local population there a real turn-on! To each their own.

Other parts of the world had to settle with the distracting sight of those two kraut broads on the cover.  :-\

Nocturnal

I remember the original cover of the Roxy Music album being in stores. Pictures like that grab a young boys attention  :o

What a record, Country life! And such an appealing cover! I saw Roxy on the tour that followed. Lots of guys in the audience came dressed up in tuxedos, some even in white tuxedo jacket. Then Ferry did his entré. Dressed like Zorro, except that he wore no mask. Them tuxedos looked washed-up after that show.
But concerning the two German chicks: No, sorry folks. He did not bring them!

Stjofön Big

Oh, yes: The white tuxedos came from Ferry wearing one on his second solo album, released only a few month before Country life. The one where he stands with a very short cigarett butt in his hand, looking straight into the viewer's eyes, with lots of beautiful people taking it easy in the background, complete with a swimming pool. Ferry looks a bit uncomfortable. I wonder if that is a way of showing his working class roots, in a moneypacked surrounding. Great cover that one, also. No nude chicks, though. But one can't have it all, can one?

Smooth Mr Ray, very smooth. Wish I could play it like you are here.

@ At every body else, as THE RESIDENT EXPERT OF WOMEN'S UNDERWARE on this forum, I can tell you we most definately had the cover with girls on it - Now where's my kleenex?  ;)
