That was a quickie! It's just some checked tape that I carefully lined up on it.

Youtube recommended this video to me yesterday, which I duly spent some time watching.

Not a bass I think Pete was known for playing, but an interesting modding platform.

Mention of the bass being bought at auction got me curious, so I've had a go at hunting out the auction. I found one auction, though this white bass isn't included.

Quite an odd collection of guitars. Nothing especially valuable, but an interesting snapshot of the other instruments, especially budget and copy guitars that were available in the UK throughout the decades.

But he's rubbed off all of Overend 's holy DNA! I hope he has at least collected it in a vial for future reverence.

Basvarken

:o Almost all of them sold way too cheap!

Guess Overend didn't have them appraised by a connaisseur, before he left this world?

The prices are baffling. The estate took a bath on quite a few instruments.

Interestingly I didn't see any Thunderbirds or exotic stage instruments Pete used. There was one naff Vox bass with a built in speaker that was apparently used in 2013 for a MtH reunion. I guess the really good stuff was retained by the family or already sold on?
