i just happen to know what he paid for baldwin.   I ( GE Capital)  sold it to him at a bankruptcy court auction..  was around 24M if my memory serves me correctly.   probably worth single digits at this point.

my series 3?   with a lull pup.  next to 2 of Carlo's early babies. i also have his first 5 string NR.    I have a thunderbucker S ready to go into the bach one of these days.  not a great belly cut but really thin neck.  sounds great through my tube amps.

the original AUB and AMB is the ampeg with the bridge off the body and mystery pickup.  i believe it is 34 1/2 scale.

Johnson replica AUB-2 -4 is 35 scale

AMPEG with magbnetic pickup is AMB bass.

Johnson replica is AMB -2 34 inch scale.

not a huge fan of one pickup basses but the right one in the right spot could get me there.....

got original ampegs as well as 2 bruce basses.   tell me what you need

Yeah I'm still playing those damn boutique basses and old fender P's    (so sorry)     and an occasional   JAEbird......    and my singing is pretty much totally back minus a little on the falsetto.   

4 bands and couple big breasted woman to keep me busy......    life doesnt suck so much anymore....
