A Chicago guy at that! Communion wafers will now be replaced with a square of pizza.

I love all three of these guys, but I'm a little underwhelmed. I think they've all done much more interesting stuff on their own solo stuff. But, it's just one song. Hopefully they delve into some more interesting territory.

That was great. I just shared with my daughter who is currently in possession of my red Les Paul.

Based on that video, Zak was doing his job better than cranky ol Rog. In addition to losing his hearing and vision, I think his sense of rhythm is going too.

I'm surprised "nobody" has posted this yet, but happy 80th to Ritchie Blackmore!

;D  ;D  I think I first became aware of him with Clapton.

Haha! Just having fun with the clickbait title, but apparently Mr. East did play on a JP record in the 80s. They, however, did not Unleash the East.  :o  ;D

Quote from: uwe on April 01, 2025, 04:49:37 PMAccess to education is a key driver to development and progress in any society and economy. I always thought the West had agreed on that long ago. As our societies and economies develop, not having a proper education will push you into fringe jobs with precarious job security and pressure for low wages. You will spend a good deal of your life fighting off to be redundant and never quite make it.

I don't want elites, I want well-educated masses. That is one of the things that makes a country strong and resilient.

I understand that people long for the 50s, 60s and early 70s when an unskilled auto worker in Detroit could pay off a house, have a small boat on Lake Michigan, cars for himself, the wife and his kids plus send them all to Ann Arbor for college, but that time won't come back. Established Western countries are doomed to develop into information and knowledge-based societies.

Elon's buddy Donald is taking the USA in that exact direction. It's already happening to college students.

Apparently made at the Samick factory where Epi and I think I saw Kramer mentioned.

Cool, I was hoping for a back of headstock shot. Samick makes some fine instruments. I have an acoustic guitar and a mini bass with their name on them.

Love that finish, and it sounds great. Funny that it's got a 3 point while the Epis get the Tune-O.
