The Bass Zone / Re: Too many basses?

I have many but they all get regular use. If you think about it collecting basses is no worse than any other hobby and with instruments if you've chosen wisely you have a valuable collection worth a lot of money.

dweezil to me is like frank sintra jr.  :P
like I said it wasn't the same. Dweezil is keeping the music alive so he deserves credit for that but Frank was all together different. I enjoyed it and probably go again.

I just got back good show but it's just not the same without Frank I got to give credit to Dweezil for keeping the music alive though. They played "Keep It Greasy" and Dweezil asked the females to come up on stage to dance my sister and her best friend danced on stage aside from the dance Dweezil called them giant women because they were tall than he was. If you get the chance check them out. In regards to the Paladium I was at a bunch of those shows in fact the last video showing a Halloween gig I can be see during "Muffin Man" in the audience.

I'm sure we did this before and I think we agreed it was the Stones.

If I'm doing a hired gun gig and they pay me well I'll dress up any the band wants, if its a local bar gig situation and I'm making a $100 then I'm not particular. I do have a lot of stage clothes and don't usually wear bluejeans.

There was an ad looking for a bass player around here where they were looking for someone to play the bass/amp combo they had and nothing else, they liked the sound and that was that. They were trying for the British invasion sound the combo was a Fender Jazz and a Ampeg B-15.

The Outpost Cafe / Re: Jim Morrison to get pardoned in Florida
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:29:24 PM »
I'm sure there are far more important things that need to be corrected in Florida than exonerate Jim Morrison for supposedly fondling himself. Can you imagine what would have happen to RHCP if they did the sock on the cock routine?

Some actors I can watch doing almost anything because I enjoy watching them work, but I never liked Jim Carrey's acting. There is a movie with him starring (I don't rember which) and at the end the various actors talked about working on the film, one of his co-stars said something to the effect that Jim had a tendency to over act and step on the others lines. I agree.
