I found that Ginger rather enjoyable. (Yes, I had to utilize Google to find their names...)  ;)

I read an article a while back that said simply lowerering your total intake by 100 calories a day will drop 10 pounds in a years time

Interesting. One trick I've been doing for a long time now is, when I make a sandwich for lunch (which is almost every week day), I put everything on ONE piece of bread cut in half. That's a good 100 cals right there. I also drink tons of water, even when I'm boozing it up. Actually, ESPECIALLY when I'm boozing it up! I'm in much better shape at 48 than I was in my mid-late 30s.

The BaCH TH-1 runs were our little way of getting a version of something we liked and bypassing the outlandish price of the originals and having them a little more accessible.  I'd say the BaCH basses were a stroke of genius, in the end.  We can thank Rob for all the work on that.

I agree 100%. It was a great way for me to satisfy my non-rev curiosity without spending a pile of money. Great basses, GREAT bargain, but in the end, I found, without a doubt, that non-rev birds are not for me.

You can do it if you adjust your eating habits. Often easier said than done, I know. But on the whole, we eat so much more now than when I was a kid. Bigger portions, more choices. No amount of exercise can overcome that.

I saw a quote that said "You can't out-exercise a bad diet". I'm all about moderation. I don't shy away from pizza, beef sandwiches, cheeseburgers, pasta, tacos, etc., but I eat very little fast food and don't drink much soda. I also exercise religiously.

You trying to "out Scott" Scott, Tom...? ;D

Ha ha! I do have one more cab - a 4x10 I built based on SVT specs and loaded with vintage SVT speakers - and an SVT III Pro head I could add to the pyramid.  :o

OK, finally going to post something here! This is the monster rig I brought out last Friday. Top to bottom:

'74 SVT head
custom built (by me) 2x10/1x15 cab
'70s (tilt back) SVT cab

BALLS!  ;D Not to mention tone. The sound guy was cool enough to take both a DI, and mic on the 15, which is my favorite way to go. I typically just use the top cabinet on its wheels, but this particular show was a biggie - 3 bands, with lots of local rock hot shots in the house. Had to bring the biggest gun!

Thanks Dave!

Speaking of... I ran across this yesterday. I haven't seen this kind of burst before on an Explorerbird. It also appears to have an XLR jack, and a toggle switch on the lower horn. I've seen the orange one, a green burst, it looks like he's holding a black one in the photo next to this bass, and he spoke of giving a white one to Pete in his book.

Funny stuff! I've heard it called a denim jumpsuit, though an ACTUAL denim jumpsuit would be way cooler! Or not...  ;D My jean jacket of choice is a real dark faded brown, so I can get away with it.

How many bass changed do you make on a single show Scott???  ;) I've recently started switching to my Gibson when I step up and sing Rock and Roll all Nite...

We had a nice little Ranger 4x4 with the extended cab and little suicide doors. Nice truck. Less than a year after we got it, my wife got pregnant, and there was nowhere to put a baby seat!

And just to clarify - I'm not trying to be mean to Daltrey, it's just a simple fact that he can't sing like a man in his 20s or 30s anymore. Robert Plant did the right thing - twice - First by ending Zeppelin when Bonham died, and then by refusing to do a reunion tour and choosing to sing music that is more suited to his voice as it is today.
