Until recently, I was a college admissions counselor. My new gig isn't as glamorous(managing a video store), but there's a lot less drama. I was the only man in the Admissions department at the college. I'm also going back to school in May.

Uwe's description of his Gibson V sounds exactly like my old Explorer Bass. It was honestly the worst-sounding bass I've ever played. It did look really cool, though.

There's a guy on TalkBass who just posted a pic of a red NR T-Bird that he's looking to sell. It's been routed for a Jazz pickup in the bridge position.  :'(

I saw L7 twice in the early 90's. There's something about women playing loud rock & roll that just does it for me. I never got to see 'em with Gail Greenwood, but I love Jennifer Finch.

I just picked up a sweet set-neck Dearmond JetStar in purple metallic. I can't wait to whip that baby out at practice!

By the way.....Those dolls are scary as hell. My grandma had a porcelain doll collection and I was scared to death of those things. They gave me nightmares when I was little.

Playing a short-scale took some getting used to for me, but I really like 'em now. I have small hands and I can play for hours without my fretting hand aching afterwards.

That finish is pretty. It would be cool to see that style of burst with other color combinations. Maybe blue or green.
