Title: Hagström HB-8 bridge problem
Post by: Pekka on June 27, 2010, 11:37:04 AM
Is there an 8-saddle bridge that would fit in to a HB-8 (the new model)? It don't have to be a direct replacement.
This is the original bridge:

I think Schaller might make one.

I might be wrong but I recall that Schaller's bridge is dicontinued. Has anybody tried this one?:

Solved the tuning problem by getting rid of the bass strings, putting another set of octave strings and tuned it CC/GG/DD/AA. Mandocello! Works very well even if the scale is about 5 inches longer than on a normal mandocello.
