Ok, now that the right handed Bachbirds are done and everybody are more than satisfied with them, i will, once again, try to find enough lefties to make a lefty Bachbird, i've already talked with Roman about it, a year or more ago, and he said it was no problem as long as there is a request for 20 or more basses. So spread the word and lets try, who's in?
I will I have an righty bachbird now, And i wish it was a lefty. We didn't have an colour option so mine is buttugly white. I'm in on the lefty as long it's not just white.
I'd prefer an natural mahogany color. I think we can get the same color options that the righties had. The problem is to reach the min. quote.
I've post a copy of this post on a dutch bassforum as well.

Hopefully there will be some interest from there as well. If any of you guys go to the link, bump it up with a comment if you please. I don't want to spam the thread, but I'm hoping we can get as much exposure there as possible.
Though crowd over there.

You're right! I'll take one. ;)
I had never realised how differently shaped NR's were compared to "reverse" T'birds... very RD at one end and unique at the other...
Hmmm... I thnk you may have something there, George...
Good luck with the lefty hunt... if the cash was available I think I would go for one, too...
How much are they gonna be? Is Bach gonna charge us extra? :P
I'll say a definite maybe at this point.

Said the man who paid 22 K for his Zemaitis... ???
Yeah well that's the reason I'm countin' my pennies now.
That Z sure is AMAZING!
My Tokai T-bird Bass actually satisfies my Thunderbird needs I think.
Not only that but I've gotta come up with 3k for my Scroll bass soon...
www.xstrange.com
I'll have my Scroll bass next week. Bruce emailed me to let me know it's ready. And, it already has a little history behind it. I got bumped up a notch when the person before me cancelled his order just as the bass was completed.
Man, all this waiting to buy more basses.... I thought the economy was screwed??? LOL! Anyone wanna buy a '78 Jazz in Olympic white?
The price will be the same, don't worry. 22K for a bass??!?!?! :o It's gonna be amazing for shure.
Is there anything clear that's the price will be the same and if possible if we get the same color option as de last run of the righties. I'm in for sure. And found some people over here in the netherlands who might want ne to.
With how hard it was to get the Bach NR from concept to completion, I thought it might be better to give the Scroll Bass posts their own thread. I'm excited to see the lefty NR get made and I don't want that project to get side tracked here.
2 Ayes & a maybe so far. 17 or 18 to go.

3 are in (OldManC, Iome and Saf) and one maybe from a dutch forum.
Hi there!
I might be that 'maybe from a Dutch forum'. Count me in, although i still have a VERY hard time choosing between a Black or a Blue one...
Hi Thunder, welcome. 4 plus, maybe, 3 from other forums......it looks hard to get there :-\
dang this is so tempting but winter is the slow time here for film and tv work so no dollars at the moment darn it...
Well.....i bet it'll be summer again, if not fall, before they'll be ready ;D
Do we pay up front or just a portion or when it's done or what?
what is the exact price with tax & shipping an' all?

The rightys were 160 euros plus shipping. I think the total cost to guys in the US came to about $400 shipped at the current exchange rate. Who knows if they might have to raise their prices by the time you get 20 lefties to sign up.
The original plan called for a 100 euro deposit once Rob and Uwe approved the prototype, but BaCH just went ahead and made them anyway without requiring a deposit. I have no idea if they would do that for a lefty run.
I'm in for 4 bills!!!! Thanks Dave
I'd take one of those lefties, if they leave the controls off and put the jacket in the wrong (i.e. right for a rightie) place. Wouldn't mind having a Reverse Non-Rev. While Reverse Reverses look weird to me, Rev Non-Revs look ... different (bit Mosrite-ish), but cool. Would that be too much of a variation for Bach to make, i.e. could they produce lefty lefties and righty lefties in one batch?
I think if righty lefties were included, we'd soon have a large enough group and if the variation hikes price somewhat both righties (by getting a one of a kind bass) and lefties (by getting the necessary production quorum together) would be equally served.
I'd be prepared to pay an extra for the righty variation. Call it affirmative action for our handicapped lefty brothers in the cellar.
That would be pretty cool yes.

You know we are intellectual superior herr advokat... ;D
i asked Bach for that variation on the righties run a year or to ago..that was the only mail he didn't answer me...., i'll try asking Roman tonight, who knows...
Yes, by all means do, bring up that idea with the lefty/righty version, please.
Still no answer.... :-[
Push Push
Let's make this happen!!!
What color options do we have if any?
How many people do we have?
Not more than 8...
Super late to the party, but I guess this never got off the ground?
Yes, it did.
At least one batch of left NR Tbirds were made back then.
Ah. Too bad I missed it. I hear their necks are great.
Bach non reverse Tb are great. I have three and always looking for other ones. Mines are all right hand
